Club Growth Team 2026–2027

Meet the club growth team

We help new Toastmasters clubs get started and existing clubs thrive across New York City, Long Island and Southern Westchester. Tell us what you need and we'll show you who to talk to.

What can we help you with?

    Forms and requests

Each form goes to the team member who handles it. Pick the one that matches what you need.

    Earn DTM credit with us

Two of the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) requirements are service roles, and our team supports all of them. Complete one role from each box.

    • Serve successfully as a club mentor or coach

      Choose one

      • Club mentor: guide a newly chartered club for at least six months after its charter date. Talk to Anna Stepanova.
      • Club coach: help a club with 3–12 members rebuild and reach Distinguished in the Distinguished Club Program. If the club also reaches 20 members, you earn an additional credit. Talk to Stella Umunna.
    • Serve as a club sponsor, or conduct Speechcraft or Youth Leadership

      Choose one

      • Club sponsor: help a prospective club market itself, run its first meetings, complete its forms and plan its charter. Talk to Ana Popescu.
      • Speechcraft coordinator: teach public speaking fundamentals to non-members over four, six or eight sessions. Talk to Bathsheba E. Zion.
      • Youth Leadership coordinator: run the eight-session workshop for ages 14–18. Talk to Evelyn R. Marrero.

The other DTM requirements are completing two Pathways learning paths, a year as a club officer (with a Club Success Plan and district club officer training), a full term as a District leader, and the DTM project. Toastmasters International confirms all credit. See the full DTM requirements on toastmasters.org.

    Not sure who to ask?

Send your question through the district support form and it will reach the right person on the team.
